Clinical Study Of Treating Duodenal Ulcer Of Deficiency Of Yang And Blood Stasis With Wenzhongyuyangtang

Objective:To observe the effect of Wenzhongyuyangtang(WZYYT) on Duodenal Ulcer(DU) and explore the mechanism of it.Methods:60 patients with DU were divided into two groups at random:the treatment group and the control group.The treatment group was given WZYYT,and the control group was given Haiyangweiyao(HYWY).5 weeks were set as a course of treatment.The clinical effects of each group were observed during the course and the follow-up survey of 6 months.Results:The effective of syndrome of TCM,enteroscopy observing of the treatment group are better than that of the control group(P＜0.01 or P＜0.05). WZYYT can improve more significantly the symptoms such as stomachache,abdominal distention,belching and acid regurgitation and anorexia than HYWY(P＜0.01 or P＜0.05).Conclusions:WZYYT appears to have the significant effect in the treatment of DU.The mechanism of this therapy may be relation to relieving hyperacidity,killing Hp,the modulation of immunity,tone up mucous membranes and promoting blood microcirculation.
