Objective:1 .To evaluate the influence of self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢on the permeability of dentin with different brush ways in vitro.2.To valuate the influence of the combined application of self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢and semiconductor laser on the permeability of dentin in vitro.3.To evaluate the clinical effect of the combined application of self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢and semiconductor laser treating the dentin hypersensitivity.Methods:1. The study of the influence of self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢on the permeability of dentin with different brush ways in vitroThe extracted teeth whose occlusal surfaces were treated were divided randomly and averagely into five groups and self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢was coated on the occlusal surfaces of the extracted teeth with different brush ways (direction, force). The treated surfaces were exposed and the rest were sealed. The extracted teeth were immersed in the methylene blue solution for six hours. Then the extracted teeth were vertically cleaved into two sections and the dye penetrating depth was measured under a dental microscope. Finally, the statistical analysis of measurement results was carried out.2.The study on the influence of the combined application of self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢and semiconductor laser on the permeability of dentin in vitroThe extracted teeth whose occlusal surfaces were treated were divided randomly and averagely into six groups. Group one: occlusal surfaces were painted by self-etching adhesive; group two: occlusal surfaces were irradiated by laser; group three: occlusal surfaces were treated by the combined application of self-etching adhesive and semiconductor laser. Group four: occlusal surfaces were brushed 300 times after they were painted by self-etching adhesive; group five: occlusal surfaces were brushed 300 times after they were irradiated by laser; group six: occlusal surfaces were brushed 300 times after they were treated by the combined application of self-etching adhesive and semiconductor laser. After that, the rest of extracted teeth were sealed. The extracted teeth were immersed in the methylene blue solution for six hours. Then the extracted teeth were vertically cleaved into two sections and the dye penetrating depth was measured under a dental microscope. Finally, the statistical analysis of six groups' measurement results was carried out.3. The study of the effect of the combined application of self-etching adhesive Xenoâ…¢and semiconductor laser to treat the clinical dentin hypersensitivityForty diseased teeth chosen from fifteen dentin hypersensitivity cases were divided into three groups and were desensitized by using self-etching adhesive, laser and the combined application of self-etching adhesive and laser. VAS was used to evaluate comprehensively the sensitivity of the diseased teeth. Then the difference value (D1) of the pain score between at the present moment and before treatment and the difference value (D2) of the pain score between after three months and before treatment were calculated respectively. Finally, statistical analysis was carried out.Results:1.Every group painted by self-etching adhesive had significant differences with blank control group(P<0.05) and the group painted gently in the same direction had significant differences with the rest groups painted by self-etching adhesive(P<0.05).2.There were significant differences among group one, group two and group three(P<0.05). There were significant differences among group four, group five and group six (P<0.05).3.D1 of self-etching adhesive group, D1 of laser group and D1 of the combined application of self-etching adhesive and laser had significant differences(P<0.05). D2 of self-etching adhesive group, D2 of laser group and D2 of the combined application of self-etching adhesive and laser had significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion:1 .The experiment in vitro showed the permeability of dentin painted gently in the same direction in vitro was the lowest.2.The experiment in vitro showed: the combined application of self-etching adhesive and semiconductor laser can reduce the permeability of extracted teeth dentin more efficiently than self-etching adhesive or semiconductor laser applied exclusively.3.The clinical experiment showed that the combined application of self-etching adhesive and laser had better clinical effects of the dentin hypersensitivity than self-etching adhesive or semiconductor laser applied exclusively. |
