Background:In the 21st century, with the rapid development of science and technology, it is imperative to cultivate intelligent, applicable and creative medical personnel, it is also the requirement of the development of science and society. In 2000, China Medical Foundation in New York advanced to cultivate the clinician according with the Global Minimal Essential Requirements (GMER). The most basic requirement is the basic knowledge of medical science and clinical skills. The clinical practice is in the final stages of school education and the key for training of the qualified clinicians and senior medical personnel. The main education mode in college is classroom education, and the main content of subjects are basic theory and basic knowledge. Therefore,it is not enough in clinical basic capacity-building. So that medical students often lack mind and psychological preparation of the transition from theoretical knowledge to clinical practice when they enter the hospital. At the same time, medical students not only completed a series of practical tasks, but also accepted an unprecedented challenge in studying ways and method. And clinical practice is the process of transformation knowledge into the intelligence by practice, which focus more on the capacity of training. As there is a significant difference between the two stages of learning, in turning point of the two different learning stages, it is very difficult for many students to adapt to the new mode of learning in a short period. Thus, even the students who have a high IQ and the outstanding academic performance in school students will feel at a loss. Therefore, it is particularly important to provide the training of clinical practice, and it also has great significance for students to acomplish the their training task successfully.Purpose: In this study, 258 clinical students, who attended clinical practice in the hospital from 2003 to 2006, were chosen as the objects of this study, including 30 students as SSP (Student as Standardized Patients), and the remaining were randomly divided into two group , the study group and the control group, each 114 students. In this study, a training mode combining the student standardized patient with the electronic standardized patient was applied to the pre-job training in order to find a scientific, efficient training method. It will be useful for the cultivation of the clinician, meeting the requirement of GMER.Results: 1 .The distribution of two groups of students is basically the same on gender, schools, professionals and entering way. Most of the students learned the lessons of medical records writing, inquiring, physical examination in school, but did not conduct a practice training.2.The skill assessment results of the research group is better than the control group in the aspect of inquiring, physical examination, case analysis and communication with the patients(P<0.01).While there is no significantly different in the medical records writing as the students having been trained in the medical schools;3.After the Pre-job training, teachers and the SSP graded the Study Group separately. Teachers scores are slightly higher than the SSP score, but the results have no significantly different(P>0.05), It indicates that SSP are competent to the work after training;4.There is no significantly different in the results of pre-job training between the SSP group and study group. It indicates that It will not affect the skills training result to attending SSP for the students, it can improve basic skills and professional attitude reversely;5.The Study Group was satisfied with the performance of the SSP, particularly with the cooperation of testing, nonintervention with language and movement, not using medical terminology;6.After their participation in the SSP, SSP think that it can improve their basic skills, useful for theoretical knowledge, more confident than before in the contact with a patient, they are willing to continue to engage in this unpaid work. Conclusion: It can increase the authenticity of the simulating diseases combining the student standardized patient with the electronic standardized patient. The standardized patient can provide the subjective part of medical history and the simulating diseases and the electronic standardization patient can provide some positive signs, so that the students can face the true feelings of the patient. It can ease the lack of teaching resources, noncooperation of the patients and the shortcomings of not to repeated use. It not only can help the students to master basic clinical skills and scientific ways of thinking before contacting with the real patients, but also can install psychological, moral, ethical, and other issues. Through it, the students can experience various aspects of the humanities and cultivate good communication skills with the patients. It provides a new method of skill assessing, combining the student standardized patient with the electronic standardized patient.Propose the following suggestions to the question that found in this research: 1, Make strict SSP standard selected, SSP should have good artistic appreciation and high-level sense of responsibility, role playing its take lifelike, want, grasp invariable identical point scale. 2, Set up SP training center nationwide, make unified SP training and assessment criteria, study for every medicine universities and colleges and teaching base train or offer SP, realize SP resource-sharing. 3, Develop improving, lifelike standardized patient of electron, offer broader space for student's skills training.
