Recent studies showed that, patients with chronic renal failure retained a state of micro-inflammatory,especially in dialysis patients, mainly presentation with increased level of inflammatory factor c-reactive protein(CRP),which may lead in cardiovascular disease, malnutrition, anemia. In this study, chronic renal failure patients for peritoneal dialysis(PD)were collected and assigned to groups according to different levels of CRP.Data were collected such as red blood cell, blood hematocrit, hemoglobin and serum lipids(including cholesterol, triglycerides, low-density lipoprotein,high-density lipoprotein),the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus targets, indicators of vascular morphology, echocardiography. Correlations between CRP levels and severity of ischemic heart disease were analyzed.[Objective]:To determine the correlations between CRP levels and severity of ischemic heart disease.[Method]:37 patients were collected in the study, all under the treatment of peritoneal dialysis patients with chronic renal failure. The level of plasma CRP were measured every three months in a follow-up more than one year, and cardiovascular complication was recorded during the same period of time,According to the level of CRP,the patients were assigned to normal group(CRP≤5mg/l)or elevated group (CRP>5mg/l).Data were collected three months after CAPD including plasma fibrinogen levels, red blood cell, blood hematocrit, hemoglobin and serum lipids of the indicators(including cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein, high-density lipoprotein, etc.),calcium and phosphorus metabolism in vascular morphology indicators, echocardiography.[Results]:During follow-up,13 patients showed elevated CRP levels.①There was no significant difference in RBC count, hemoglobin and hematocrit between two groups.A increased level of plasma fibrinogen and a decreased serum albumin, transferin level was observed in elevated group(p<0.05).②The serum levels of high-density lipoprotein was lower in the elevated group than in the normal group, blood triglycerides, total blood cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein and apolipoprotein A and apolipoprotein B between the two groups showed no difference.③There was no significant difference in serum phosphate and calcium and calcium-phosphate product in the two groups.④As left ventricular structure indicators, the level of LA,VLEDD,WST,VLMI VLPWT and CRP were higher in the elevated group than in the normal group P(<.005),while the diastolic function of E/A CRP is lower than the normal group.⑤Among 24 patients in normal group,3 cases developed with cardiovascular disease,2 cases died in one year follow-up; Among 13 patients in normal group,10 cases developed with cardiovascular disease, 4 cases died in one year follow-up in the year of follow-up in the death of four cases.[Conclusion]:Peritoneal dialysis patients with chronic renal failure retained a state of micro-inflammatory.Increased level of CRP seems to be the strong predctor of the occurrence of cardiovascular disease, which may lead to death. As a predictor of prognosis in patients with peritoneal dialysis,CRP can be used to evaluate the clinical effects in dialysis patients..
