Objective:To study the resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical isolates in the nosocomial infections, and verify if the multidrug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa have the same origin. To study the characteristics of theβ-lactamases produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the quinolone resistant mechanisms from Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Methods:1. 70 Pseudomonas aeruginosa clinical isolates were randomly isolated from the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College. MICs to 14 kinds of antibiotics and the effect of efflux pump inhibitor CCCP on MICs were tested by agar dilution according to CLSI. Theβ-lactamases of clinical isolates were screened by Nitrocefin. A modified three-dimensional test was used to detect isolates which produced AmpCβ-lactamases and ESBLs. The ERIC2 was used as single primer to verify the origin of the multidrug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
