Objective To study the preemptive analgesia effects of on perioperative anesthesia and postoperative pain management in patients undergoing osteo-operation.Methods 40 patients under going osteo-operation were randomly assigned to two groups. The patients in groupⅠ(n=20) received intravenous injection of Sufentanil 0.2μg/kg 15 min before surgery, and those in groupⅡ(n=20) intravenous injection of saline. The operation was performed under combined spinal,The variety of heart rate and blood pressure were recorded after going into operation room and after operation. After t -he operation,post-operative analgesia efficacy was assessed by visual analog scales(VAS) at 6,12 and 24h after surgery, and analgesic requirements,analgesic-related nausea and vomitting were observed. Results The vital signs all through the operation in groupⅠwere stable and without marked respiratory depression. The vital signs during the operation in groupⅡwere roughly stable, but majority of the patients had a reversible respiratory depressi on.The vital signs of groupⅡwere unstable because of perioperative drag and without respiratory depression.Evaluation of anaesthetic satisfaction using double blind method in groupⅠand groupⅡhad a better outcome.VAS of each time point was under 3 points in groupⅠand had significant difference with groupⅡ(P<0.05).There was no significant difference among the two groups considering postoperative nausea and vomiting. Conclusion Sufentanil has got a satisfactory anaesthetic effect when applied to preemptive analgesia in osteo-operation.It can release postoperative pain apparently, rais e patients' life quality and reduce adverse effect. It is a safe and effective anaesthetic drug in thyroidectomy.
