Objective To analysis the change of angiogenesis before or after thyroid Arterial ambolization in light of VEGF,bFGF and CD34 showing the change of MVD in order to discuss the influence between the mechanism and the clinical effect with interventional therapy to treat Graves' disease.Materials and Methods 1.Forty-tow patients of Hyperthyroidism caused by Graves' disease have been visited 1~68 month,who have been checked TT3,TT4,FT3,FT4,TSH,TSAb and the inferior lymph cell of CD16~+CD56~+,CDI9~+,CD3~+,CD3~+CD4~+,CD3~+CD8~+ and done color Doppler ultrasound exam before or after ambolization 7 day,3month,6 month,1 year,3 year and 4 year.2.The 47 sample have been divided 3 groups:pre- interventionaltherapy (before thyroid arterial embolization)group,6 month group (include 7 day group,3 month group,6 month group)and post-interventional - therapy more 1 year group.The expressions of VEGF,bFGF and CD34 were studied by immunohistochemistry in 47 thyroid tissues.Microvessel density(MVD)in GD thyroid tissues was calculated through counting endothelial cells immunostained by anti-CD34 antibody.Results 1,The positive staining of VEGF were located in endochylema and plasmalemma. The expressions of VEGF in 6 month group were higher than those in preinterventional-therapy group(P<0.05).The expressions of VEGF in 1 year group were remarkably lower than those in pre-interventional- therapy group and 6 month group.2,The positive staining of bFGF were located in en- dochylema.The positive cell and positive staining of bFGF have no sig- nificant statistic difference between pre-thyroid-arterial embolization group and 6 month group(P>O.O5),but there was significant statistic difference between pre-thyroid-arterial embolization group and more 1 year group.(P<0.05).3,CD34 expressed amount of positive cell is lower in more 1 year group than those in pre-interventionaltherapy group and 6 month group.(P<0.05).4,The expressions of VEGF and bFGF were positively related to MVD before or after embolization in thyroid tissues.(r=0.65,0.46,P<0.01)5,TT3,TT4,FT3,FT4 is lower after embolization i month than embolization pre- thyroid -arterial.The different is serious,but 1 year later,the different is in nubibus.TSAb and CD4~+/CD8~+falled to the nomal level after 6 month.Conclusion The article discusses change of angiogenesis in thyroid tissue after thyroid arterial embolization to treat Graves disease.Angiogenesis have been expressed more serious in short term after interventional therapy than preoperative,but in the middle and long term angiogenesis expressed decreasing or normal.So we affirmed the long-term effect the thyroid arterial embolization in the Graves disease,but also thyroid artery embolization has played the complex therapy role in the molecular level to treat Graves disease from different degree.
