Expression Of NF-kB, C-erbB-2 In Breast Cancer And Their Clinical Significance

Objective To investigate the expression of NF-kB,C-erbB-2 and their correlation in breast cancer and examine the relationship with clinicopathological parameters.Methods Immunohistochemistry technique was detected the expression of NF-kB,C-erbB-2 in sixty specimens of breast cancer,sixty specimens of breast' s adjacent tissue to tumor and thirty specimens of breast' s benign lesion tissue.SPSS13.0 statistical package was analyzed the relationship between the expression of NF-kB,C-erbB-2 and the clinicopathological parameters in breast cancer.Results(1)The positive rate of the expression of NF-kB in breast cancer,breast' s adjacent tissue to tumor and breast' s benign lesion tissue were 68.33%,35.00%,0,respectively(P＜0.01).It was not significantly related to age,tumor size,histological type and differentiation(P＞0.05),but it was related to lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis,TNM stages(P＜0.01).(2)The positive rate of the expression of C-erbB-2 in breast cancer,breast' s adjacent tissue to tumor and breast' s benign lesion tissue were 70.00%,48.33%,6.67%,respectively(P＜0.05).It was not significantly related to age,tumor size,histological type and differentiation(P＞0.05),but it was related to lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis,TNM stages(P＜0.05).(3)There was a significant positive linear corelation between the expression of NF-kB and C-erbB-2(r=0.401,P＜0.01).Conclusions(1)The expression of NF-kB and C-erbB-2 in breast cancer was much higher than that in breast' s adjacent tissue to tumor and breast' s benign lesion tissue.It suggests that the expression level of NF-kB and C-erbB-2 in breast cancer can reflect directly the malignant degree of tumor.So they could be regarded as reference index of clinical diagnosis.(2)The expression of NF-kB and C-erbB-2 in breast cancer closely related to lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,TNM stages.It is useful to analysis clinical stages and therapy in breast cancer.(3)The expression of NF-kB related positively with C-erbB-2 in breast cancer.Combinative detection of NF-kB and C-erbB-2 provides evidences for the diagnosis,treatment of breast cancer.
