The fungi of Tricholoma are well-known for their variety of secondary metabolites and biological activities especially the immunoregulation and antitumor activities.For half a century, the chemical constitutions of these fungi and their bioactivities have been investigated by scholars, a large number of novel bioactive secondary metabolites have been reported in recent years.Seven compounds were isolated from the Ethyl acetate extracts of fruiting body of Tricholoma imbricatum by means of silica gel and reverse-phase (RP-18) silica-gel colum chromatography,and were further purified by Sephedex LH-20. Five compounds were identified among them. The structure of compound 1 was identified by direct comparison with authentic sample as ergosta-4,6,8(14),22-tetraen-3-one (1). The structures of the other compounds were elucidated based on the analysis of their spectral data (MS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and DEPT) and compared with the literature data. They were 5α,8α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta- 6,22-dien-3β-ol (2),farnesylphenol (4),neogrifolin (5),ergosta-7,22-dien-3β,5α,6β-triol (7). The five compounds were first isolated from Tricholoma imbricatum.
