| The causes of recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA),a common pregnancy complication,are very complex about 40%～80%of RSA are unexplained.In recent years.Many researches on unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion revealed that URSA is mainly related to immunological factor.The active immunotherapy has uncertainty curative effects on RSA。Its standardization,mechanism and influences on filial generation still need more in-depth research.As a result,the prevention and treatment to recurrent spontaneous abortion is still not clear in modern medicine.Recurrent spontaneous abortion is named huatai in TCM.TCM think that is a close relationship between pregnancy and kidney,chong vessel,ren vessel.Only when kindey qi is superabundant,essence and blood are sufficient,the throughfare and conception vessels as full as well as menstration is regular can sexual intercourse result in pregance.The kidney which connected with the meridian of uterus stores essence and govern reproduce.The function of kidney is helpful to strengthen the qi of embryo.Chong vessel was considered as the sea of blood.Ren vessel govern embryo.Uterus is the place where the fetus grow and develop.Qi can bear the fetus.Blood can raise the fetus.Qi serves as the commander of the blood.The change of qi and blood from uterus is important to the success of pregnancy.TCM believe that fetus can normally develop because of the plenty of qi form kidney and the sturdy qi of chong vessel and ten vessel.Otherwise,losing the qi of kidney,imbalance of qi and blood and unsubstantial qi from chong vessel and ren vessel are all can lead to abortion.Since the kidney is the dominant one among the five zang and six fu organs,asthenia of the kidney may lead to dysfunction of the liver,spleen and heart.The dysfunction of these viscera further leads to insufficiency of the liver and kidney,asthina of both the spleen and kidney as well as disharmony between the heart and kidney that result in disturbance of qi and blood in the throughfare and conception vessels and failure of the uterus to conceive fetus.Kidney is the root of ren vessel and chong vessel.Qi and blood spring from stomach and spleen.Therefore we have to supply kidney and regular chong vessel and ren vessel to cure recurrent spontaneous abortion. Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of the combination of acupuncture and herbs in treatment to recurrent spontaneous abortion, and its influence on the FSH,LH,E2 in serum,and supply scientific evidence for the clinical use of the combination of acupuncture and herbs. Clinical observation was randomly contrasted.Sixty cases of recurrent spontaneous abortion were randomly divided into two groups.Treatment group was treated with acupuncture and herbs,and control group was only treated with herbs.Herbs are composed of bushenyichong pills and huoxuetiaochong pills,and chose points of ren vessel and foot yangming stomach channel to treat.The function of herbs is supply kidney and regular chong.The changes of BBT,follicle which detected with B-ultrasonography,endometrium development,progesterones,follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteotrophic hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2) were observed and compared.For instance,uni-directional BBT indicates no ovulation,birdirectional BBT,temperature difference(0.3℃or=0.3℃, or Continuous high fever for 1-2 days,or gradual increase of body temperature indicate ovulation with hypofunction of yellow body of ovary. Results:In the treatment group,the cured rate was 26.7%,effective rate was 56.7%,vain rate was 16.7%,and the total effective rate was 83.33%.In the control group,the cured rate was 13.3%,effective rate was 46.7%,vain rate was 40.0%,and the total effective rate was 60.0%. There was significant difference between the two groups by statistical analysis(P＜0.05).Comparing the growth of ovarian follicle,the differences of pre-treatment and pos-treatment in two groups were both significant by statistical analysis(P＜0.01).The thickness of uterine endometrium of pre-treatment and post-treatment in treatment group was significant by statistical analysis(P＜0.01).The thickness of uterine endometrium of post-treatment between two groups is significant by statistical analysis(P＜0.01).The total effective rate of treatment group reached 83.33%.The biphasic rates of the basal body temperatures were increased by continuously mensuration.The level of serum estradiol and progesterone also consciously elevate.The level of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteotrophic hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2) were obviously changed(P＜0.01).The total effective rate of treatment group reached 60.0%.The level of serum estradiol and progesterone were not so obviously elevated than treatment group.The level of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteotrophic hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2) were not so obviously elevated than treatment group.Conclusion:The combination of acupuncture and herbs can obviously improve ovulation. Acupuncture with herbs and herbs have a same ovulating effect,and the pregnancy rate is higher and the abortion rate is lower for the pa- tient of acupuncture with herbs treatment than that for oral administration of herbs.The combination of acupuncture and herbs can regulate the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis of the organism.Acupuncture and herbs have very good clinical effects on ovulation disorders,and it is a safe and effective adjuvant way for modern assisted reproductive technique...
