Clinical Research On Catgut Implantation At Acupoint Treatment

Background and purpose:The inception rate,mortality rate and mutilation rate of Cerebrovascular disease(CVD)are fairly high,it with malignant tumor,heart disease are the first three disease that lead to death all over the world,there always persistence various kinds of functional impairment after the acute cerebral accident stage,such as hemiparalysis,asemasia,affective disturbance,and so on.the shoulder-hand syndrome (SHS)is fairly common among the total stroke patients,some documents show that the incidence rate of SHS after the acute cerebral accident stage reaches up to 12.5 percent to 70 percent in abroad.It can occurs on the third day after acute stroke,maybe occurs on the sixth month at last,because of dropsy and pain on the articulationes carpi or articulatio humeri,the patients who suffer SHS after fear exercise,and clipping body posture,that can impact on the venous return of the trouble side,accordingly aggravate the dropey on the trouble shoulder and hand.Form infernal circle,it proceed to irreversible advanced stage at last.Some documents show that,the,SHS after stroke not only aggressive the pain,tumor,and compel the patients limitation of activity,but also made them out of remaining function or restoration of function.The therapeutic effect will be better if the SHS after stroke cured on early metaphase,and it will be worse if cured on the inreversible advanced stage,therefore,this study adapt catgut-embedding therapy combined acupuncture treatment aims at.improve vasomotor function,and promote venous return,to achieve goals of treatment of detumescence and alleviate pain,to advance the patient recovery earlier,relieving the patients ailment and lessening the burden of family and country.This study is guided by traditional Chinese medicine theory,to cure the extremity Motor dysfunction—SHS after stroke adapt catgut-embedding therapy combined acupuncture treatment,aims at approach more active treatment and method,to dilatation the width of acupuncture treatment,moxibustion treatment and catgut-embedding therapy,which can allay for the patients and relieve the burden of the society.Method:this study adopt small sample traban confrontation test,which is synchronia perspective study.We gained the random numbers from pems 3.1 for windows which refers to EG:CG=1:1 amounting to 60.we divided the patients into 2 groups simply for the time that they came into our hospital,and gave them acupuncture treatment or combined catgut implantation at acupoint treatment.Scored all the patients motor function by means of Fugl-meyer.Result:according to the comparison of motor function score,age,gender,and the course of disease before treatment,analysis of data indicates that the difference between the two groups before treatment is not significant,the basical line of the two groupes is coincident, and with comparability.The outcome shows:the difference of the score after treatment of the two groups compared before treatment is significant(P＜0.05),and comparision according to movement function,the difference is significant(P＜0.05),that the score of movement function of the EG group has decreased more than the CG group.Conclusions:both the singlet acupuncture treatment and acupuncture combined catgut implantation at acupoint treatment are effective to treat SHS after stroke,also, catgut-embedding therapy can improve movement function comparied to the singlet acupuncture treatment.That means the acupuncture combined catgut implantation at acupoint treatment for the SHS disease after stroke has spacious application value and investigation perspective.
