Expression And Significance Of Kiss-1,MMP-9 In Endometriosis

Objective To investigate the expression of anti-metastasis gen kiss-1 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in the ectopic and eutopic endometrium from woman with endometriosis,at the same time to investigate the dependablity of kiss-1 and MMP-9 in endometriosis. To achieve the purpose of investigating the pathogenesis of endometriosis.Methods From April 2007 to October 2007, Select 60 specimans with endometriosis (30 cases of ovarian endometriosis and meanwhile 30 eutopic endometrium cases) as research group, 30 cases of normal endometrium as a control group. Detect the expressions of kiss-1 and MMP-9 in eutopic and ectopic endometrium of endometriosis, as well as normal endometrium by means of RT-PCR , research the relativity of kiss-1 and MMP-9 in the endometriosis.Resultsâ‘ T he expression levels of kiss-1 in ectopic endometriosis of ovarian endometriosis was lower than in the eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium(P<0.01,P<0.01).However, there was no obvious difference between the eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium(P>0.05),in the prolificative phase and secretory phase ,there showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).â‘¡The expression levels of MMP-9 in the ectopic endometriosis of ovarian endometriosis was more in the eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium(P<0.01,P<0.01).However, there was no obvious difference between the eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium(P>0.05),in the prolificative phase and secretory phase ,there showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).â‘¢There was a significantly negative correlation between expression of kiss-1 and MMP-9 in ovarian endometriosis.Conclusionsâ‘ The decreased expression of kiss-1 and the increased expression of MMP-9 in ovarian endometriosis may be correlation factor in endometriotic development.,and may provide monitoring index of recidivation and prognosis in endometriosis.â‘¡T he expression of kiss-1 and MMP-9 was significantly negative correlation in endometriosis,suggests their have some effect in local invasion and distant metastasis.â‘¢The finding cues that endomembrane aberrance of endometriosis may be the biological behaviour ,to be similar to malignant tumour.
