Objective To explore the correlation between the level of glycosylated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and the extent of coronary lesions in coronary heart disease (CHD).Method 43 CHD patients were included in the study. All the patients underwent coronary angiography and the extent of coronary lesions is analyzed by total amount of coronary narrow degree integral.Result Correlation analysis showed that the level of HbA1c is significantly correlated with the coronary artery narrow degree in CHD patients (r=0.36, P<0.05). The HbA1c between the CHD group and the controlled group is significantly different(P<0.05), whereas, TG, TC and FFA between these two groups has no different statistically (P>0.05).Conclusion The level of HbA1c was positively correlated with the coronary artery narrow degree in CHD patients, HbA1c is one of the effective factors to monitor the coronary narrow degree integral.
