Object:To explore the cognizance,implementation and related influencing factors of Standards Precaution(SP)in current operating-room nurses through investigation and study of SP in the operating room nurses in Changsha.Methods:Taking stratified random sampling method,we randomly selected a total of 480 operating room nurses in 6 grade-3 hospital and 18 grade-2 hospitals in Changsha.Surveys include general information questionnaire, occupational exposure,occupational injury and cognitive questionnaire, the cognizance and implementation of SP of questionnaire.The inquiry through questionnaires,interviews,on-site observation conducting.SPSS statistical software used for statistical analysis of the data,Statistical methods included descriptive statistics analysis,Chi-Square Tests, Mann-Whitney U Test and Non-Conditional Logistic Regression Analysis.Results:1.Issued 480 questionnaires,returned 439,the rate of valid questionnaire was 91.5%.2.Those who know that the blood,fluid and secretions of all patients are potential infective sources accounted for 68.6%,with the difference among the nurses of different qualifications,length of service,professional title and the hospital level was significant(P<0.05).The cognizance of nurses with length of service longer than 20 years,college-level education,co-chief superintendent nurse,and those from grade-3 hospital was better than others.3.To the incidence of occupational exposure,90.0%of the operating room nurses regarded serious or very serious.More than 87.0%of nurses had been punctured by sharp surgical instruments or other ordinary sharp instruments such as syringes and ampoules.4.80.2%of the operating room nurses who knew patients exactly had blood-borne diseases could operate in strict accordance with the standard form of isolation.However,only 50.6%of nurses can take protection when patients did not have blood-borne diseases or their serous status was unknown.5.49.2%of the nurses used both hands to recap needles,80.4%of the nurses used their hands to separate discarded syringe needles.Those who could wash their hands adhering to rules accounted for 73.6%,and 68.1%of them could wear gloves initiative before they might contact patients' body fluids.90.0%of them can dispose medical waste separately.90.0%of the nurses could not properly use goggles and special protective suits.
