Study Of Plasma Adiponection And Related Factors In Maintenance Hemodialysis Patients

Objective:The current study was performed to determine the levels of APN in patients with maintenance hemodialysis(MHD),examine the possible correlations with plasma lipids,CRP,ALB,BMI,renal function and diabetes mellitus,and discuss the possibility of APN estimate the risks of the occurrence of cardiovascular disase in MHD patients.Method:The study was performed on 43 patients with MHD(Group A:MHD patients with DM,Group B:MHD patients without DM),17 patients with urmia,20 health people were grouped as controls.APN levels were measured by sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Cr,CRP,ALB,plasma lipids and blood giucose etc was measured.Collected clinical date of every group,such as sexuality,age,weight,Blood pressure etc.The correlations between APN and factors was analyzed.Result:1.The serum LDL,CRP,TG of MHD patients higher than normal controls(P＜0.01).The serum HDL,ALB,Hb of MHD patients lower than normal controls(P＜0.01).It shown have abnormalities in plasma lipids and lipoproteins, Nutritional status and Microinflammation state in MHD patients.2.APN levels were higer in cases of MHD and uremia patients than in normal controls(P＜0.01).The APN levels of two groups had no significant difference.It shown the levels of APN associated with impaired renal function.3.Group T2DM:21 MHD patients with T2DM;Group NT2DM:22 MHD patients without T2DM.The APN levels of two groups had no significant difference. 4.The stud shown:The APN levels had negative correlation with BMI,ALB,TG,CRP and positive correlation with HDL.It shown APN levels of MHD patients are closely associated with abnormalities in plasma lipids and lipoproteins,Nutritional status and Microinflammation state.5.APN levels of MHD patients had no correlation with blood pressure and age.APN levels had no correlations with serum lreatinine(P＞0.05).6.APN levels between men and women patients had significant difference.Conclusion:APN levels between men and women patients had significant difference.APN levels of MHD patients increase compared with normal controls,which is possible associated with impaired renal function.The APN levels of MHD patients are closely associated with abnormalities in plasma lipids and lipoproteins,Nutritional status and Microinflammation state.APN can be a vaule index of estimate the risks of the occurrence of cardiovascular disase in MHD patients.
