Objective:To examine the expression level of IGF-Ⅱin breast cancer and the correlation with the expression of Ki-67.To analysis the relationship between IGF-Ⅱand breast tumor cell proliferation.Methods:There were totally 120 cases collected,each group of breast cancer,breast fibroadenoma and breast hyperplasia tissue were 40 cases. The age were 30-73 years. The expression of IGF-Ⅱand Ki-67 in breast tissue was detected by immunohistochemical technique SP and attempt to find out their associativity.Results:1.The positive expression of IGF-Ⅱhave no different(P>0.05) in breast cancer,breast fibroadenoma and breast hyperplasia tissue,but the strong positive expression of IGF-Ⅱin breast cancer was significantly higher than the other two groups(P<0.05).2.In breast cancer group,the expression of IGF-Ⅱwas significantly higher with lymph node metastasis and the lesion diameter>2cm than without lymph node metastasis and the lesion diameter≤2cm.The expression of IGF-Ⅱhas no difference in different age,hormone receptor and histologic type.3.The expression of IGF-Ⅱwas positively correlated with the expression of Ki-67.Conclusions:1.The high expression of IGF-Ⅱhas been implicated of important significance in the initiation of breast cancer.2.IGF-Ⅱcan be an important factor in metastasis of breast cancer.3.IGF-Ⅱmay have the function to facilitate breast tumoer cell proliferation.
