Objective; to Comparison of the effects of functional recovery and nerve regeneration after the common peroneal nerve end-to-side and end-to-end suture and nerve transplantation so as to give a new ideas for the treatment of nerve defect in clinicMethods: 24 New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into four groups, each 6. Group A: the left common peroneal nerve was Cut off . a fenestration was made in the outer membrane of the tibial nerve stem, distal end of the common peroneal nerve and tibial nerve stem was religated by end-to-side anastomosis. Group B: the left common peroneal nerve was cut off then end-to-end anastomosis. Group C: Drifts away the left common peroneal nerve, shuts off about 1.5cm a section of nerve home position to transplant .Group D: left common peroneal nerve was staggered at two ends after cut of, do not fit. 16 weeks After the operation, give a general observation and the morphology observation, anterior tibial muscle wet weight was measured. Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) retrograde tracer evaluation of nerve regeneration. And the specimens of nerve fiber regeneration area was count by Leica Qwin computer system.Result: Whether horseradish peroxidase retrograde tracer or anterior tibial muscle wet weight and Histological observation, The results are same. End-to-side anastomosis and end-to-end anastomosis and nerve transpalation group have no significant difference each other and were superior to group without anastomosis. The result of horseradish peroxidase Retrograde tracer stain positive area: End-to-end anastomosis was superior to end-to-side anastomosis group and nerve transpalation, no positive staining in group without anastomosis. Conclusion: the anastomosis of end-to-side in curing nerve injure was effective, the effect of End-to-end anastomosis are superior to end-to-side anastomosis. There was no significant difference in end-to-side anastomosis and large nerve transpalation.
