| Objective:To observe the relevant indexes of Allicin point injection treating allergic rhinitis rat, and to explore its mechanism, providing new ideas and methods for the prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis with acupuncture and moxibustion.Methods:36 SD rats were sensitized by ovalbumin and the suspension aluminum hydroxide, the modelled successfully rats were randomly divided into Allicin point injection group, Allicin intramuscular injection group, NS point injection group, model group, respectively, at the same time doing corresponding treatment, observing and analysing of relevant indexes.Results:After five treating, the symptom scores of 3 treatment group were significant lower than the model group, and Allicin point injection group is the lowest, the difference is significant statistics; smear nasal secretions, nasal biopsy eosinophil, CD4 and CD8 of 3 treatment group were significant less than the model group, and Allicin point injection group is the least, the difference is significant statistics; CD4/CD8, there are statistically significant differences in 4 group.The total efficiency of Allicin point injection group is 100%, Allicin intramuscular group is 77.78%, NS point injection group is 66.67%, the total efficiency of the model group is 0, it is statistical (P<0.01).Conclusion:Allicin point injection therapy is effective in treating allergic rhinitis,it is better than the other tow group, the mechanism may be related to decreasing the nasal secretions and nasal smears slice eosinophils, lowering abnormally increased CD4 and CD8, adjusting imbalance CD4/CD8, it has opened up new ideas for allergic rhinitis with acupuncture and moxibustion.
