| Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of the Fuzi combined with Baizhu on Ajuvant Athritis(AA) of rat and its influences on thelevels of TNF-αand NO in the serum of rats and find out the best combined ratio. Methods: 60 SD rats were randomly divided into six groups as the control group, model control group, Tripterygium Wilfordii group, Fuzi combined with Baizhu 3:1 group, Fuzi combined with Baizhu 9:4 group, Fuzi combined with Baizhu 3:2 group;Besides the control group,other rats were injected the Complete Frund's Adjuvant (CFA) into the subcutis of their right rear paws to establish AA rat models. Measurement all the rat's thickness on the different time, After two weeks of treatment, the rats put to death and the serum was collected. Assay the comtent of TNF-a and NO of all the serum. Results: the comtent of TNF-a and NO of all the serum were increased compared with that of control group.(p<0.01),the fuzi and Baizhu different combinations can lower the No and TNF-a in AA Rats serum(p<0.05) and decrease feet thickness(p<0.05). Conclusion: the Fuzi combined with Baizhu has good therapeutic effect on AA of rats. the Fuzi combined with Baizhu can obviously decrease the levels of TNF-αand NO in the serum of rats with AA. 3.
