Objective: To evaluate the preliminary clinical results of bypass for chronic femoral-popliteal occlusive diseases.Methods: The clinical data of 30 cases(40 legs) with femoral-popliteal occlusive disease treated by bypass surgery were analyzed retrospectively.29 cases treated by artificial vessels bypass; 11 cases treated by saphenous vein arterial bypass.Results: 36 cases recovered or improved, with various complications 20% (8 cases), 1 case suffered from amputation. Follow-up time from 4-36 months, average 13 months,the patency rate of bypass was 86.2%.Conclusion: Artrial bypass is an effective therapy of femor- alpopliteal atheroclesrotic occlusive diseases.
