Bronchial asthma, for short as asthma, is a kind of chronic respiratory inflammation that was caused by many kinds of cells(e.g eosinophile granulocyte, mast cells, T-cells, neutrophile granulocyte and epithelium of respiratory tract ) and their components.[1] The mainly symptoms are recurrent attacked gasp, polypnea, chest distress and cough. It can make prodigious effect on infant about body, emotion, physiology, mentality and study, and it is a chronic disorder which could severely affect the enfant's health. The incidence is mounted up all over the world, and in some countries it can reach 30%.[1] A series of research and study ranged all over the world shows that the complexion of asthma preventing is disillusionary, and the symptom can not be controlled , and the daily activity is limited, and high-level non-booking indagation and in-hospital therapy are lacked, and the self-acquainted to the disease and the self-nurse ability of enfant patients are absence. Gree and other scholars have studied more about the asthma patients in South American countries, and found that the living quality was so badly that no matter what adults or children, there were many basic matters needing the guidance from medical staff.[2] . In Asia-Pacific Region, including our country, the ratio of discontinuing studying in children and losing working time in adults according to asthma was 36.5% and 26.5% respectively.[9] So ,during the enfant patients were in hospital, we could teach the heath guidance to them , when they went home, they could use what they had learned to make self-management, and mass of them can improve such abilities as self-acquainted to the disease, self-estimate to the severity of the disease, self-prevent to the paroxysm of asthma, rational usage of self-management, and the skill of self-nurse.Objective: In order to improve the self-nurse ability of infant asthma, we make systemically normative health education guidance, to help reducing the paroxysm of asthma, lightening the paroxysm degree, maintaining long time stabilization, and improving the life quality. Method: we randomly sampled 68 enfant asthma who had visited in paediatric outpatient department from 10,2006 to 12,2007. We classified them into two groups averagely, that is observe group (O) and comparison group(C). In O group, there were 18 boys, 16girls. The age of the patient is from 6~14. Mild asthma 19 cases, middle ones 15; In C group, there were 22 boys,19 girls. The age of the patient is from 7~14. Mild asthma 21 cases, middle ones 13. In O group, we had taken standard therapy and systemic health educate guidance, and realized individual therapy-nurse management, made further consultation with the doctor disciplinarily. In C group, we had taken routine therapy and nurse method. 1 year later, we compared the self-nurse ability of children in O group with ones in C group. Result: there was notable difference in curative effect,life quality and paroxysm times between two groups, these data in O group was obviously excelled to that in C group. Conclusion: Health educate guidance can effectively improve such self-nurse abilities as self-acknowledge to disease exactly,self-inspection and management to disease,self-prevent,self-management to diet,self-regulation of emotion, make enfant to prevent the inducement, insist on self-therapy and keep the asthma diary, train nicer self-nurse habit. It can reduce the paroxysm of asthma,emergency times and days of being short of class, and improve the life quality of infant asthma by health education.
