Analysis Of Mental Health State Of Emergency Medical Workers

The emergency treatment is a important part of medical treatment in hospital. Not only the emergency medical service quality straightly react synthetical level and civilized grade of hospital, but also significantly affect life of emergent patients. The mental healthy condition of emergency medical personnel can directly influence the effective treatment to emergent patients. The emergency medical personnel support the great mental and psychological pressures in strained and heavy work. It already has affected their mental and body health and working quality. Therefore, it take important role in emergency medical service for vast crowds to research the mental healthy condition of emergency medical personnel. It already has been a new subject how to protect the mental health of emergency medical personnel and improve the emergency treatment quality. However, the mental health of emergency medical personnel is a weak part in mental health. The research aimed at it have been seldom reported in country recently. This is the aim of this research to investigate the mental healthy condition of emergency medical personnel, analyze the factors affecting mental health, propose the measures improving mental health of emergency medical personnel, and provide the gist for mental evaluation and mental healthcare to the special crowds.we selected 298 emergency medical workers, who come from four synthetical hospitals in China, by the stratified cluster sampling, assessed them by Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),Coping styles Questionnaire and self-design general living questionnaire, and compared with the Chinese norm. This research concluded that firstly, the mental healthy condition of emergency medical workers significantly are weaker than of normal crowds via this investigate. They mainly behave with anxiety, antagonize and depression et al. Secondly, the four factors greatly affect mental healthy condition of emergency medical workers by deeply analysis. They are the speciality of emergency medicine, the speciality of work environment of emergency medical section, the national consensus tend affecting the association of doctors and patients, and the developing tend of law consciousness and self-protecting consciousness of demos in our country. Thirdly, if times of being engaged in emergency medical work of emergency medical workers are different, their mental healthy condition are different, and the methods of settle also are different. As there are many factor affecting mental health, so according to different working times objectively carry on mental interference, and decrease occurrence of mental matter.
