Objective: To detect and evaluate the factors associated with the prognosis of recipiants. Methods: In a cohort of 22 patient who performed liver transplantation and did follow-up visit in our hospital, we conducted a retrospective study. All subjects were divided into different groups according to preoperative causes , postoperative complication, surgical indication for liver cancer, and influences of these factors on the prognosis of recipiants were investigated. Results: Among preoperative causes group, 5patients with liver cancer and 1 patients with acute fatty liver of pregnancy were died, patients with post-hepatitis cirrhosis,primary biliary disease,wilson disease were still alive. prognosis of patients with liver cancer who meet the Milan criteria were well, but the patients who did not meet the criteria were died. Among postoperative complication group, 5patient with recurrent liver cancer and 2patients with biliary tract complication were died. Conclution: There is a significant effect of liver transplantation on patients with end stage liver disease, especially patients with benign liver disease. Surgical indication is the mainstay of postoperative prognosis. patients with recurrent liver cancer and biliary tract complications were associated with poor prognosis. Patient with liver cancer who had big tumor or metastasis vesselinvasion are not recommended to perform liver transplantation surgery.
