Clinical Study On Treatment Of Mild Cognitive ImPairment By Yiqihuoxue

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Yiqihuoxue self-treatment to mild cognitive impairment, and from the traditional medicine point of view research its etiology of disease. Methods: According to the diagnostic criterion of mild cognitive impairment made by Peterson, selected 60 cases of patients with MCI, randomized grouping, divided into treatment group (n = 30) and control group (n = 30). 30 cases in treated group take Yiqihuoxue self-treatment 200ml each time two times a day orally; 30 cases in control group take nimodipine films 30mg each time three times a day orally. Consecutive three months for a treatment. Patients were observed before and after the scale mini-mental state examination (MMSE), activities of daily living (ADL), the symptoms of traditional chinese medicine (TCM) and serumβ-amyloid1-42(Aβ1-42) changes in circumstances. Results: In the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment in MMSE scores, the scores of symptoms of TCM andβ-amyloid protein concentration on the difference between statistical significance (P<0.05), but the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment at ADL, the difference was not statistically significant by statistical tests (P>0.05). Comparison of the two groups before and after treatment difference in MMSE and the ADL scale results, there was no significant difference (P>0.05), but in Chinese medicine syndromes integration and serumβ-amyloid protein concentration on the margin of comparison, there are statistically significant (P<0.05); Syndrome basis of evaluation standards, the treatment group and the control group were tested by two groups of Chinese statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion: Self-side Yiqihuoxue Tang have certain clinical efficacy in the treatment of mild cognitive impairment with Qi feebleness and blood stasis. can improve the cognitive function of patients,chinese medicine clinical symptoms and the metabolism of serumβ-amyloid protein 1-42, so the method used Yiqihuoxue have a significant effect in the treatment of MCI.
