Clinieal Study On Treatment Of Mild Cognitive ImPairment By HuaTanMaiTong

Objective: To investigate the effect of HuaTanMaiTong in the treatment of mild cognitive impairment(MCI), and from the point of view of its Chinese Etiology, Pathogenesis. Methods: According to the diagnostic criterion of mild cognitive impairment made by internationally recognized reference.selected 60 cases of patients with MCI, randomized grouping, divided into treatment group (30 cases) and control group (30 cases). the treatment group taking HuaTanMaiTong tablets every five, three times daily, the control group was given nimodipine films, three each, three times per- day, on three months consecutive medication for treatment. On a follow-up. the variation of the scale mini-mental state examination (MMSE), Activities of daily living (ADL), the symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) and serumβ-amyloid 1-42 (Aβ1-42) changes in circumstances were observed. Results: the variation of two groups in the scores of MMSE and symptom of TCM andβ-amyloid protein was statistical significance (P<0.05), the variation of ADL in two group was not significant by statistical tests (P>0.05). Comparison of the two groups,the difference in MMSE and the ADL scale results and serumβ-amyloid protein concentration on the margin of comparison, there was no significant difference (P>0.05), but in the scores of symptom of TCM, there was statistically significant (P<0.05); Syndrome basis of evaluation standards, the treatment group and the control group were tested by two groups of Chinese statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion: proprietary Chinese medicines HuaTanMaiTong tablets can improve the patients with MCI in Neuropsychological Scale Integration, the symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine and serumβ-amyloid protein 1-42 metabolic function of mild cognitive impairment. delay the development of certain clinical significance.
