The Effect Evaluation Of Microwave Therapy For Vocal Cord Polyp In Different Way

Objective:To compare the effect of microwave therapy of vocal cord polyp under laryngofiberscope and prop-up laryngoscope performed.Method:96 patients with vocal cords polyp that acceptd cure in hospital from August 2006 to August 2007 were divided into 2 groups by random.52 patients with vocal cord polyp of the group 1 were carried out microwave therapies for excising the polyps under laryngofiberscope.the another 44 patients with vocal cord polyp of the group 2 were completed the therapies under prop-up laryngoscope,Compared the treatment result of two kinds of methods,compared two kinds of methods economics and the opration's time differences at the same time.Results:(1) the curing result of two kinds of methods had not difference on statistics.(P＞0.05)(2) the two kinds of methods had difference on statistics in economics and the time of opration. (P＜0.05)(3) the two kinds of methods had difference on operation's time in economics. (P＜0.05).Conclusions:The conclusion of the study proved:Using microwave treating vocal cord polyp,the effect is similar.under laryngofiberscope had more superior than prop-up laryngoscope in safe,convenience and economic.
