Chinese Medical Health Websites Usability Evaluation Based On The Non-medical Professional Information Users' Needs

In the context of the number of health seekers' increasing, network medical health information making a more and more important impacting on health seekers, and the diversification of health seekers, etc, how to meet users needs, enhance users' productivity and reduce the burden of its users and improve users' satisfaction, these are issues that the medical health websites operators must face, which is the main content of the medical health websites usability.Website usability is a widespread problem. The Chinese medical health websites are no exception, for example, the credibility and authority of the information is not assured, and the site does not provide a clear navigation system and privacy policy. The usability of medical health websites not only shoulder the burden of the site's profit, also charged with the user's health problems, carrying the user lives safety after using the information and services. The usability of medical health websites evaluation study has important practical significance.Therefore, this thesis tries to build Chinese medical health websites usability evaluation system on theory based on non-medical professional users' needs, and to offer the network medical health information providers a scientific basis for decision-making in practice. I believe this study will help our medical health websites' development with long-term.Based on an investigation on Chinese network medical health information users' needs, the paper first established the Chinese medical health website usability evaluation system in accordance with these needs, and then used experts' investigation to modify the system and give the system weights. In order to understand Chinese medical health websites usability status, as well as validation the scientific of evaluation system, the paper chose 10 medical health websites as a target evaluation empirical for evaluation studies. Finally, the paper commented on their usability design and proposed some suggestions about Chinese medical health websites usability.
