It is obvious that arteriosclerotic retinopathy is a common and frequently encountered disease, by seeing the recent medical examination consequent. There are atherosclerosis,monckeherg arteriosclerosis,arteriolosclerosis and senile arteriosclerosis four pathology type of anigosclerosis. All of them can contaminate the eyes except for the monckeherg arteriosclerosis. The sclerotic blood vessels harm eyelid,conjunctiva,limbus cornea,corpus ciliare choroideae,vitreous body,choriod,optic nerve,musculi oculi,fossa orbitalis,vision,visual function and retina. And it is most common by retinopathy.Central artery of retina is a continuation of the ophthalmic artery, and the ophthalmic artery is a branch of the internal carotid artery. Central artery of retina not belongs to the cerebral arteries, but they have the same feature that they are both terminal vessels. The earlier textbook indicates that the patient with cerebral arteriosclerosis (CAS),renal hypertension,arteria mesenterica arteriosclerosis,artery of lower extremity occlusion had retinal change. Whether the arteriosclerotic retinopathy can reflex the condition of the circulation system or not? Medical scientists had done massive research about it.A lot of literature demonstrate that multiple factors may be operative in the production of arteriosclerotic retinopathy, such as hypertension,diabetes mellitus (DM),hyperlipemia (HL),coronary heart disease (CHD),cerebral infraction (CI),age,sex,smoking and drinking. If we want to know which factors play the leading role among them, it is very difficult. In order to guarantees the accuracy, we need mass samples. And we should record a lot of index for every sample, at last we using statistical method to intergrate,analysis the data. So a lot of dom thesis about the factors concerned with arteriosclerotic retinopathy just analysis one or two factors with very little samples to avoid the trouble about the data. So the deflection is inevitable. In the vestigation I apply the scientific statistical method to analyze the data, expecting that I can obtain the accurate conclusion.Objective: To find the factors such as hypertension(HP),diabetes mellitus (DM),hyperlipemia (HL),coronary heart disease (CHD),cerebral infraction (CI),the healing of the mentioned disease,age,sex,smoking and drinking which has relationship with the occurrence of arteriosclerotic retinopathy. And compare their contribution to the arteriosclerotic retinopathy.Samples: among the cadres of the jilin province who participate in the health examination at the first hospital of jilin university in 2007, we choose 900 people to attend our research. All of them can coordinate inspection and fill the questionare independently. The details are as follows.There are 832 male and 68 female ,they aged from 40~94 and the average age is (69.34±10.45)602 patients with arteriosclerotic retinopathy; 698 patients with ametropia (AM); 629 patients with cataract; 8 patients with diabetic retinopathy; 21patients with hypertensive retinopathy.449 patients were diagnosed as hypertension and patients with hypertension history; 162 patients were diagnosed as DM and patients with DM history; 279 patients were diagnosed as HL and patients with HL history; 389 patients were diagnosed as CHD and patients with CHD history; 158 patients were diagnosed as CI and patients with CI history. 565 patients with hypergravitation; 156 patients are smockers and 302 patients are drinkers.Methods: Ordering the 900 people, and list the index that describe the factors we want to study on. We handle the index such as HP,DM,HL,CHD,CI,BMI,sex,with the HP,DM,HL,CHD,CI,smocking and drinking history as the enumeration data. For instance, a person with DM we just label it as 1, otherwise label as 0. And the age we bucket as measurement data.When we prepare the data well, we utilize the SPSS10.0 to analysis it. The methods I apply are regression and chi-square. Results: there are seven factors Sig<0.05, they are age,gender and with hypertension history,CHD,cure for CHD,smocking and drinking. And there are several factors Sig near but more than 0.05,they are HPN,with DM history AND with CI history.Conclusions: Age is one of the most significant factors correlated with the development of arteriosclerotic retinopathy. Gender is also a factor that effects the incidence of arteriosclerotic retinopathy. Smocking and drinking are both determined factors for the incidence of arteriosclerotic retinopathy. With Hypertension history is the most important factor induces the. CHD can cause arteriosclerotic retinopathy either. And cure CHD in time will reverse the illness.And the person who with HP,has CI history,has DM history will have more risks than others. As the pathogenetic condition deteriorate, the possibility of emerge arteriosclerotic retinopathy is bigger.Others we do not considered as the relative agents with the occurrence of arteriosclerotic retinopathy. If it different from others'essay, may be errors was created in the process of chosen the samples.
