To Study The Relationship Between Different Groups Syndrome Of TCM And Plasma Interleukin-6 (IL-6) In Patients With Heart Failure

Objective:To study the relationship between syndrome differentiation type of TCM and plasma Interleukin-6(IL-6)in patients with heart failure to research into impersonal reference in TCM syndrome.Methods:1)Doppler echocardiogram and Interleukin-6(IL-6)we are used to observe objectification of syndrome differentiation of TCM in 128 patients,compared with 33 peoples those in healthy control subjects. Results:1)The level of IL-6 of 4 groups Syndrome Differentiation typing in TCM in Patients with HF were higher than those in healthy control group significantly. Comparison among the 4 TCM Syndrome-type groups,there was significant difference among between groups and within groups in the level of IL-6(P＜0.005),there are gradually with the declining of health people→Xin-Fei-Qi-Deficiency Syndrome→Qi-Deficiency-Xue-Yu Syndrome→Xin- Sen-Yang-deficiency Syndrome→Yang-deficiency-water- extensive Syndrome;2)Comparison among the 4 TCM Syndrome-type groups,the levels of Heart Function classification became more serious gradually with the declining of health people Xin-Fei-Qi-Deficiency Syndrome→Qi-Deficiency-Xue-Yu Syndrome→Xin-Sen-Yang- deficiency Syndrome→Yang-deficiency-water-extensive Syndrome(P＜0.005).3)Comparison among the 4 TCM Syndrome-type groups,there was significant difference among between groups and within groups in the level of LVEF (P＜0.005);4)The level of IL-6 of 4 groups Syndrome Differentiation typing in TCM in Patients with HF was correlated with heart function classification(r=0.835,P＜0.05). 5)The level of IL-6 of 4 groups Syndrome Differentiation typing in TCM in Patients with HF was negatively correlated with LVEF(r=-0.819,P＜0.05).Conclusions:IL-6 may be one of the important reasons for lowering of LVEF in HF patients with edema and different syndrome type.IL-6 may be one of the most indices for evaluation of the different TCM Syndrome-type groups of HF.Interleukin-6 level in patients with HF elevate significantly with the severity of heart failure.
