| Objective:The aim of this retrospective study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of the porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns with different metal inner crowns and to analyze the factor of abnormal cases,in order to discuss which was better to the periodontal health and to provid clinical referrance evidence for the metal inner crowns' biocampatibility.Methods:88 cases of all nickel-chromium alloy and titanium porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns were included in the study and 12 months after these teeth had been restored, they were rechecked. We compared the clinical examination from color diversity, cervical margin's dense and fit nature, cervical margin's coloration, collapsing porcelain and gingivitis and so on.Results:The nickel-chromium alloy and titanium porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns hadn't statistical variation in the directions of color diversity, cervical margin's dense and fit nature and collapsing porcelain(P>0.05).But they had statistical variation in the two directions of gingivitis and cervical margin's coloration(P<0.05).Conclusions:The titanium porcelain- fused-to- metal crown is more better to the periodontal health than the nickel- chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal crown. |
