The Research On Nickel Chromium Alloy Porcelain-fused-metal Crown Influence On The Ni,Cr Ion Concentration In Human Urine

Objiective:Learn the effect of wearing dental nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM)crowns patients on the level of urinary nickel and chromium.Method:Choose March 2009 to March 2010 in Xin Jiang medical university 1st affiliated hospital according to the requirement of urine nickel chrome testing who has been wearing with nickel-chromium PFM patients 55 cases,male 29, female 26 as the test group, and the same period in Xin Jiang medical university 1st affiliated hospital of not doing any repair healers,55 cases, including male 28, female 27 (control group). test group and control group Collect's urine. Prepared the artifical saliva based on Schiff method and adjusted the pH to 6.18. Cast nickel chrome ceramometal crown 80 star, then divided into four groups and each group 20 star,first group is once cast nickel chrome ceramometal crown, second group is again casting for nickel chrome ceramometal crown, third group is after casting burnish&polished nickel chrome ceramometal crown, fourth group is after casting burnish not polishing nickel chrome ceramometal crown. bubble in artifical saliva respectively, respectively in a week, two weeks, three weeks, around remove samples, testing and nickel chrome ions quantity.Result:1) The average level of the nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) patients'nickel of urine and chromium of urine is above than control group.but the difference has no statistical significance,.2) The number of the nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal lower than five groups'average level of nickel of urine and chromium of urine above the number of nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to- metal (PFM) above five groups, the difference has no statistical significance.3) The useful life of the nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal lower than five years group's average level of nickel of urine and chromium of urine is above than the useful life of nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) above five years group. The difference has statistical significance.4) once cast nickel chrome ceramometal crown nickel chrome ion is above than Again cast nickel chrome ceramometal crown nickel chrome ion in each periods. The difference has statistical significance.5) Burnish hind not polishing nickel chrome ceramometal crown nickel chrome ion is above than Burnish hind polishing nickel chrome ceramometal crown nickel chrome ion in each periods. The difference has statistical significance.6) Four conditions of nickel chrome ceramometal crown nickel chrome exhalation quantity is increasing.Conclusion:1) The average ion concentration of the nickel and chromium of the urine of the nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns patients is within the normal scope. But three patient in test group ion concentration of the nickel and chromium of the urine are above the normal scope 5% of total.2) The useful life of the nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns and repair site the nickel-chromium alloy porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns will have influence on the rising the quantity of nickel and chromium ion of the patient's urine.3) Polishing technology, again casting, time will have influence on nickel-chromium crown nickel and chromium ion precipitation amount.
