Objectives:To observe the effects of 7.5%hypertonic saline on the serum levels of aldosterone(ALD),angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ)in canines with acute pancreatitis(AP)in the early stage.Methods:Thirty-two dogs were randomized into four groups(each n=8),acute pancreatitis was induced in all animals by injecting autologous bile into the pancreatic duct.GroupⅠ:received intravenous resuscitation with 0.9%NaCL solution and 10%glucose solution(1 versus 1),total volume was 80ml/kg in 24 hours.GroupⅡ: the direction was same as groupⅠ(76ml/kg),plus 7.5%hypertonic saline(4ml/kg),total volume was 80ml/kg in 24 hours.GroupⅢ:the direction was same as groupⅠ(80ml/kg), plus 0.9%NaCL solution(40ml/kg),total volume was 120ml/kg in 24 hours.GroupⅣ: the direction was same as groupⅢ(116ml/kg),plus 7.5%hypertonic saline(4ml/kg), total volume was 120ml/kg in 24 hours.Resuscitation was administered for 5 days after AP induction; The serum levels of ALD and AngⅡwas detected by radioimmanoassay. Results:For ALD,from the first day to the sixth day after AP induction, there was no significant difference for factor group(P>0.05).For AngⅡ,from the first day to the sixth day after AP induction,There was significant difference for factor group(P<0.05),between each two groups:there was significant difference for groupⅠandⅡ,groupⅠandⅣ,groupⅢandⅣ(P<0.05).Conclusions:hypertonic saline is helpful in reduction of serum level of AngⅡin the early stage of AP,and may attenuate microcirculation obstacle to AP.
