Objectives:To observe the effects of 7.5%hypertonic saline on the serum levels of aldosterone(ALD),angiotensinâ…¡(Angâ…¡)in canines with acute pancreatitis(AP)in the early stage.Methods:Thirty-two dogs were randomized into four groups(each n=8),acute pancreatitis was induced in all animals by injecting autologous bile into the pancreatic duct.Groupâ… :received intravenous resuscitation with 0.9%NaCL solution and 10%glucose solution(1 versus 1),total volume was 80ml/kg in 24 hours.Groupâ…¡: the direction was same as groupâ… (76ml/kg),plus 7.5%hypertonic saline(4ml/kg),total volume was 80ml/kg in 24 hours.Groupâ…¢:the direction was same as groupâ… (80ml/kg), plus 0.9%NaCL solution(40ml/kg),total volume was 120ml/kg in 24 hours.Groupâ…£: the direction was same as groupâ…¢(116ml/kg),plus 7.5%hypertonic saline(4ml/kg), total volume was 120ml/kg in 24 hours.Resuscitation was administered for 5 days after AP induction; The serum levels of ALD and Angâ…¡was detected by radioimmanoassay. Results:For ALD,from the first day to the sixth day after AP induction, there was no significant difference for factor group(P>0.05).For Angâ…¡,from the first day to the sixth day after AP induction,There was significant difference for factor group(P<0.05),between each two groups:there was significant difference for groupâ… andâ…¡,groupâ… andâ…£,groupâ…¢andâ…£(P<0.05).Conclusions:hypertonic saline is helpful in reduction of serum level of Angâ…¡in the early stage of AP,and may attenuate microcirculation obstacle to AP.
