Object: In order to illustrate the composing ratio of varies diseases treated byEmergency department of Yanbian hospital during 2003 to 2005. It will providereference to health administrative authority to understand main factors which threatenthe lives of people so that institute relevant measures, and to guide for Emergency departmentconstruction and educational affairs.Method: Data used were collected from the registry of emergency department from 2003 to 2005.Data was labeled by International disease classify standard (ICD-10) and the first diagnosis wastaken to judge standard. The composing ratio of Korean and Han nationality with non-infectionchronic diseases or accidental injury was analyzed.Result: In total of 28906 cases were treated in Yanbian hospital from 2003 to 2005, the number ofKorean patients was 14623(50.5%) while that of Han nationality patients was 14283(49.5%), thereis no significant difference.Heart and cerebral diseases, 7458 cases (25.80% in tatal), were charged top ratio. The cases ofhypertensive were 2185 (29.30%in tatal), Korean and Han account for 53.68% and 46.23%respectively; Coronary heart disease were 1464 cases (19.63%), Korean and Han account for55.46% and 44.54% respectively; Cerebral transitorily short in blood supply patients were 1850cases, account for 24.80%, within it Korean and Han account for 52.36% and 47.62% respectively;Cerebral infarct were 998 cases, account for 13.38%, Korean and Han account for 57.41% and42.59% respectively; Cerebral hemorrhage were 961 cases(12.89%), Korean and Han account for53.90% and 46.10% respectively.The cases of Accidental injury was charged 2nd position, with 7339 cases, include trafficaccidental injury and poisoning, etc., which account for 25.39% of total.The cases of digestive system diseases with 3358 was charged 3rd position, include bellyache,up alimentary tract disease and liver disease, account for 11.62% of total.The cases of respiratory diseases and urinary diseases were charged 4th and 5th position, with2331 and 1047 cases, account for 8.06% and 3.62% of total, respectively.The residual 7373 cases consists of endocrinopathy, haematology, tumour, etc., account for25.50% of total.
