The Academic Value Studying About The Excerptions From The Medicine Specialists' Works In Sung Dynasty

Huang di's Internal Classic(called Internal Classic for short) is a classic work in our country's existing medical science cultural heritage. It summarized the medical science experience in Han Dynasty past,absorbed the achievements of ancient philosophy and natural science.Established the theories system of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the foundation of the Traditional Chinese Medicine's development.Huang di's Internal Classic included Su Wen and Ling Shu,162 articles in total. The greatly part of the articles were the works in Spring Autumn and Fight country period ,and were completed in West Han period.In the Qin and Han periodes, Huang di's Internal Classic set up the frame of Traditional Chinese Medicine's theory, symbolized the system formation of Traditional Chinese Medicine.It guided clinical practices.But from Han Dynasty to Tang Dynasty, the guiding function to the clinical practices about Huang di's Internal Classic was small and weak. The studying of the theories relatively fell behind. The characters of Traditional Chinese Medicine's development in this period was the enrichment of the clinical experiences and appeared a great deal of clinical works.In North Sung period, Traditional Chinese Medicine was valued, especially the theories. Su Wen was corrected and published four times by government. The most extensively spreaded one was corrected by Lin yi and Zhang yuxi. Huang di's Puncture Classic was contributed from Gaoli, only a little amount were corrected and published. In South Sung period, Ling Shu was contributed by Shisong,it was published after being corrected. In addition to this, only a few of the specialized works about Internal Classic in Sung Dynasty existed,the most was lost. Therefore, collecting and studying the contents spread at Sung Dynasty was very important and necessary. It can make up the weakness of the modern study about Internal Classic.Extensively read the medical science works in Sung Dynasty,and excerpted 300 discussions from 20 books of 19 medicine specialists in Sung Dynasty,involving 51 articles in Su Wen and 18 articles in Ling Shu. The excerptions were fixing attentions on the languages that directly quoted from Internal Classic,and arranging in Internal Classic's order.Trying to make a study of its academic values,it includes several aspects: First, discussing the medical science theories in detail.There were many differences in the languages because of the different times. Medicine specialists in Sung Dynasty made the explanation detailed and deeply.Second, establishing new theory. Doctors in Sung period were not limited at the theories of the past , they put forward new viewpoints.Third, using Internal Classic to guide the clinical practice. It was the characters in the works wrote by medicine specialists in Sung Dynasty.Fourth, adding the cause of disease, pathology, symptom of disease, and the method of the cure. The most outstanding work is Sheng Ji Zong Lu.Fifth, helping to correct and translate Internal Classic . There also had some shortages in those excerptions,so we must use them carefully when correcting Internal Classic.Sixth,correcting the mistakes and complementing the shortages in the works wrote by WangBing.They helped to have an exact comprehension and dissemination.There are also some mistakes in the works of Sung Dynasty ,but it reflected the gradually development of medical theory . It can't be completed at a time,it needs to be adding and correcting continuously .
