"Comfort words" was tended to need less information relatively(25.83%).Thay wanted to know which the prognosis and treatment of leukemia(74.44%,73.83%),the next was diagnosis(61.39%),.Statistic analysis was executed with analysis of variance with single-factor was performed and the influencing factors included gender, education level, marriage, residential land and employment. And the two-two comparisons among the means were done by LSD method, the high degree was higher scores than low degree, age, gender, education level, employment, marriage, hospitalization costs, residential land, duration of the leukemia as independent variable.Prognosis was judged with IPQCP.The valuable influence factors were filtrated and formulated with multivariate regression analysis model. It is relative with education level, employment, age, hospitalization costs, gender but no relationship with duration of the leukemia, residential land,marriage.(P<0.05,P<0.01).Patients with higher education level preferred to gain more information about treatment and prognosis. But less information about diagnosis,non-insured patients and female patients wanted to know more information about Prognosis than insured patients and male patients. Conclusion The needs of health information results from many factors in different newly diagnosed leukemia patients. In the nursing practice, nurse should depend on personal situation and provide information support to patients with newly diagnosed leukemia patients, satisfy their information needs and enhancing their quality of life.
