The Expressions And Relationship Of Rock-2 And MMP-2 In The Bladder Cancer

OBJECTIVE:To detect the expressions of Rock-2 and MMP-2; then explore the association between Rock-2, MMP-2 and the bladder cancer's occurrence and growth, also the relationship between Rock-2 and MMP-2.METHODS:We collected 65 cases of bladder cancer with pathologic diagnoses and detailed information, detected the expressions of Rock-2 and MMP-2 in the natural and bladder cancer tissue with SABC immunohistochemisty, analyzed the data with pathology image analysis system.RESUUTS:(1) The expressions of Rock-2 and MMP-2 in the natural tissue are negative,but in the bladder cancer tissue, they have increased expressions in pathology grade I (22.09±4.13%, 28.70±6.42%),II (31.72±4.80%, 48.46±8.17%),III(43.72±7.46%, 63.66±7.77%)respectively, also have significant differences in each grade and between the three grades (P < 0.05 ) ,which show Rock-2 and MMP-2 have positive relations with the pathology grade of bladder cancer.(2) Using pathology image analysis system we found the expressions of Rock-2 (43.65±8.72%) and MMP-2 (58.12±11.60%) in T2～T4 clinical stage are stronger than Tis～T1 stag (28.48±7.33% and 43.14±15.20% respectively) , the equal values of positive expression between Rock-2 and MMP-2 have significant difference(P<0.05)(3) Rock-2 and MMP-2 have positive relation in expressive level, R=0.669CONCLUSIONS:(1)The expression of Rock-2 in the bladder cancer tissue has positive relation with the pathology grade and clinical stage, suggested that Rho /Rock signal transmit path may take important advanced role in the origin and development of bladder cancer.(2) The expression of MMP-2 in the bladder cancer tissue has positive relation with the pathology grade and clinical stage, suggested that MMP-2 may take important role in the invasion and metastasis of bladder cancer.(3) Rock-2 and MMP-2 have positive relation of expressive leveling the bladder cancer, suggested that they have inter-advanced effect, Rho/Rock signal transmit path accelerate the metastasis of bladder cancer through the MMP-2 pathway.
