ObjectiveWith the development of the society and the change of the live environment and mode, diseases like psychosomatic disorder and mental disorder which have close relations with the psychosocial factors have become main reasons of harm to the mankind health. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) invariably thinks highly of the effects of the psychosocial factors to diseases. The emotional theory sum up the psychosocial factors to internal injury caused by excess of seven emotions and the induced diseases called emotional diseases. The emotional theory still need to system and approve for effectively directing clinical practice although its scientific and effective characters have been generally accepted on the base of summarize and succeed the predecessor theories, combining the modem scientific theories and the outcome of clinical and empirical study.
