Objective we investigated the relationship between plasma levels of serum amyloid A protein (SAA) concentrations and clinical course (including prognosis) in patients with CHD.Methods The clinical informations and medical examinations were get on admission in 180 cases, blood samples were taken from all subjects while supine. SAA and hs-CRP were all assessed from the same blood samples. In vitro diagnostic reagents for the quantitative determination of SAA in human serum by particle-en-hanced immunonephelometry on the Behring Nephelometer . To To investigate the relationship of inflammations and CHD Through analysis these statistics. to explore the meaning and value of SAA. Results 1.It was found that the concentration of SAA and hs-CRP were significantly higher in group of ACS than in group of SAP and control subjects (P<0.01) . and there is no significant difference between the group of SAP and control subjects ( P>0.05) . 2.There is significant difference between the Gensini score being 20-40 (or >40) and Gensini score<20 .And there is no significant difference between the socre being 20-40 and those > 40.3.It was found that the incidence of CHD is higher with the concentration of SAA≥4.80 mg/ L or hs-CRP≥3.73 mg/ L than those with the concentration of SAA<4.80 mg/ L or hs-CRP <3.73 mg/ L (P<0.05) . The cutoff point of concentration of SAA was chosen based on mean+1.645SD . the levels of SAA is highly correlated with hs-CRP ( r = 0.807, P TC>the history of hypertension>smoking>age. 5.In our investigation , there is significant difference in prognisis of revascularization between two SAA groups (P
