Research On Needs And Acceptability Towards E-Health In The Two Affiliated Hospital Of Kunming Medical College

Objectives Survey and analyse the needs and acceptability of the e-health services and management about doctors,nurses and hospital managers. On this basis, we make some suggestions for the diffusion of e-health.Methods In this study, the theory framework is the Diffusion of Innovation. We conducted a cross-sectional survey by questionnaire we designed ourself. Analysed and explored the needs and acceptability of e-health about doctors,nurses and hospital manager.Conclusions The results show:(1) There are higher needs on e-health about doctors,nurses and hospital managers;(2) They think that relative advantages of e-health services are obvious; the e-health can avoid unnecessary repetitive inspection, repetitive services and repetitive charges; the e-health is simple and easy; the e-health can improve the quality and the efficient. So there are large acceptability for the e-health about doctors,nurses and hospital managers;(3) Attitude to promote the e-health: the doctors and nurses worry that the reliability and confidentiality of e-health can not meet requirements; but hospital managers think the operation of the e-health is simple like the internet; in the development of e-health process, there is something on doctors and nurses on how to protect privacy and data security of patient; (4) The thing that doctors,nurses and hospital managers expect mostly about the e-health is related to improve efficiency and health management;(5) The thing that doctors, nurses worry mostly about the e-health is "Will we be able to share various checks data?" and this is related to the "repetitive inspection, repetitive services and repetitive charges" The thing that hospital managers are worried mostly about e-health is lack of funding and professionals.Recommendations Based on the results, I submit the following recommendations: (1) The needs and acceptability of the e-health on doctors, nurses and hospital managers are higher, so in the development of e-health process, hospital can become positive impeller; (2) The development of core equipment relate to e-health should concern fully the wishes of masses and the target of the government on easeing up the probrom of "medical problems and medical expensive"; and guide to the needs on the efficiency and the quality of hospital and develop preferential the e-health of reduceing medical expenses; (3) In the development of e-health, people should focus on the mechanisms of information security and privacy protection.
