The Experimental Study On Protective Effects Of Yangshenyutangwan On Myocardial Injury In Diabetic Rats On The Early Periodand And Its Mechanisms

Objective:To study the infuences of Yangshen Yutang pills on metabolic and pathologic changes of type 2 diabetes mellitus rats, and to judge the therapentic effects of Yangshen Yutang pills on type 2 diabetes mellitus rats.Methods:One hundred and twenty rats were modeled into T2DM rats by high quality of heat feeding and abdominal injection of streptozotocin, and then were randomly divided into 7 groups. The model group was given no treatment; the others were respectively treated by Tangniaole, dimethyldiguanide.Moreover, a group of 12 normal rats at the same month-age was used as control. The weight, cardiac weight, cardiac weight exponent, the activity of SOD and the content of MDA were detected The pathologic observation on pancreas was made.Cell apoptosis in heart was evaluated. Immunohistochemis -try was used to detect the protein of Bcl-2.Results:It was proved that the Wistar rats could be modeled into T2DM rats by high quality of heat feeding and abdominal injection of streptozotocin(30mg/kg).Yangshen Yutang pills could decrease the fasting blood-glucose,boost the activity of SOD significantly and cut down the content of MDA, increase the Bcl-2 ratio.Conclusion:The general therapeutic effectiveness of Yangshen Yutang pills is better than that of the control group. It indicates that the effect of the Yangshen Yutang pills on the T2DM rat model is probably due to its boosting the activity of SOD significantly and cuting down the content of MDA,lessening apoptosis and adjusting the Bcl-2 gene.
