| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of xiaodian soup in treating Henoch-schonlein purpura (HSP), evaluate the expression of serum sIL-2R of HSP before and after treatment, and reveal the pathogenesis of HSP and the effect mecheanism of xiaodian soup on HSP.Methods: 52 cases with HSP were randomly divided into two group: the treated group 26 and the control group 26. The xiaodian soup were given to the treated group and the glucocorticoid were given to the control group. Compared the difference of curative effect between the two group. Explored enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect 52 patients the expression of serum sIL-2R before and after therapy.Results: 1.The total effective rate of the treated group and the control group were 92.0% and 88.0% , the comparison between the two groups showed not significant difference (p>0.05).2.The curative effct of treated group such as shorten the remission time of bleeding of skin and urine and proteinuria is superior to the control group(P<0.05). 3.The expression level of serum sIL-2R in HSP patient was higher than in the normal control group before treatment. After treatment the expression level in two groups were obvious reduced, but it also higher than the normal level(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The clinical effect of xiaodian soup is approach to the glucocorticoid control group, but xiaodian soup is superior than the control group such as in improving clinical manifestation of HSP, decreasing the recurrence ratio and abasing the damage of kidney fuction. It is pointed out that xiaodian soup is an effected recipe to the HSP. 2.The expression level of serum sIL-2R in HSP patient was higher than in the normal control group, but it can obvious reduce after treated by xiaodian soup, So we can find out that xiaodian soup could improve the abnormal immune status of HSP patients, decrease the immuned damage and eviate symptoms.
