The Establishing And Clinical Application Of Hernia Database

Objective : To establish a hernia database and to introduce how to use this software and its clinical applicationMethods : With Powerbuilder software, I designed this database .It contains primary table and secondary tables . Primary table contains 142 fields including name ,sex ,patient's ID et al.Secondary tables includes doctor table, operation method table , hernia type table,user table, mesh table et al.This database software has five main functions including data input,data query.data print,data statistics ,data maintenance,user administration.Result:1, Statistics in age, sex et al using hernia database is consistent with SPSS.2,There are some originalities in statistics in operation methods,hernia types et al using hernia database.Conclusions:There is significant clinical values for collecting information of hernia patients with hernia database. There are some originalities in statistics in operation methods,hernia types et al using hernia database.The hernia dabase can be used as a supplement for SPSS software and it is a useful tool for clinical application.
