Background:With foreign exchanges have become more frequent, STD morbidity increased year by year in China, coupled with the increased frequency of cervical operating factors, so that the incidence of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease(CPID) increased significantly. But there is no notable efficacy of treatment for CPID so far. Western medicine in the treatment of CPID mainly uses antibiotics, however Chinese traditional medicine treatment shows a distinct advantage in contrast. As we known,CPID is a long-term disease and easy to relapse. Chinese traditional medicine treatment consider that invalidism result in congestion and then damage healthy energy, so the hot and damp stasis ties the card is predominant in CPID.Objectives:Relyed on the statistical method , the investigation would evaluate the clinical availability and clinic safety of PenTongTing tablet to treat CPID (The hot and damp stasis ties the card), contrasted with FuYanKang tablet, So Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention of providing better clinical basis.Methods:We randomly select 70 cases CPID patients whose age from 20 to 45 years hospital-based outpatient gynecological clinic in Guangdong Province Traditional Hospital. According to the diagnostic standard of western medicine about CPID and traditional medicine about CPID (The hot and damp stasis ties the card), adopt traditional medicine syndrome scoring table and physical sign scoring table to appraise the condition, and make a clinical observation of two medicines refer to the result of laboratory examination.Results:The investigation manifests that there isn't statistic significance in total effective rate between two medicine to improve the integrated syndrome and region physical sign of CPID patient (The hot and damp stasis ties the card). The total effective rate of treating CPID in PenTongLing tablet and FuYanKang tablet is 81.82% and 75.76%. respectively, the total effective rate of improving integrated syndrome is 72.73% and 69.70%, and region sign is 84.85% and 78.79%. PenTongLing tablet is better than FuYanKang tablet in ameliorating the efficacy of abdominal pain. The therapeutic effect of this investigation isn't correlation with patient' s general condition.Conclusion:PenTongLing tablet could invigorate spleen to eliminate dampness and promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis and stop the pain.
