All the patients had hypochromia (66 - 105g/l), ALT and AST elevated to (56-534U/L) and (98-352U/L), LDH elevated to (117 -1044U/L),blood platelet descended to (21-52×10^9/L),TG elevated to (1.85-3.08mmol/l), HDL descended to (0.56-1.08 mmol/l) .with LDL/HDL rising. One patient had the sequel of placental abruption, and three patients had the sequel of FGR, and one with fetal distress. The major trerapeutic ways were intensive maternal and fetal monitoring, active treatment of pre-eclampsia, use of corticosteroids and termination the pregnancy as fast as possible. The five patients all recovered, the newborn babys were alive in four cases, one fetal died in uterus. Conclusion: HELLP syndrome is a serious life-threatening compliacation with severe pre-eclampsia, obstetrician must improve the recognition of the incidence and fatalness of HELLP syndrome, master the characteristic of clinical expression and laboratory examination, we must manage pre-eclampsia and administrate corticosteroids forepart and terminate the pregnancy as fast as possible if the diagnosis is clear.
