objective :There are extremely complex pathological and physiological changes in human body before death. These changes result in insufficient functions of many important organs such as liver, kidney, cardiovascular system, lung, stomach and intestine, blood coagulation, electrolytical turbulence and so on. This experiment studies excluding primary diseases of liver, kidney, blood system and immune system and acute infections; makes synthetic analysis of examination results in order to discover the internal relation between primary diseases and other main viscera and common pathological mechanism, and seek common pathological and physiological changes before death which results from different diseases. By finding out the common reasons of death which is caused by various diseases, we can predict the living period of dangerous patients and provide objective examination indices for saving patients'lives. Methods: There are three groups in the experiment: death group (24 hours before death), before death group (24-72 hours before death), normal control group (healthy person). Immunity, biochemistry and blood routine indices of the three groups are respectively examined. We will find death rules from the examining indices and objectively predict the living period of dangerous patients. We also observe the body temperature change of patients while they carry out blood routine examination in order to find the influence of body temperature on white-cell count. Results : In the immunity examination results of death group are compared with those of normal control group, immune indices IgG and IgA greatly decrease and there is obvious statistical differential(P<0.05); IgM, C3 and C4 also decrease, but there is no obvious differential(P>0.05).Comparing before death group and normal control group, we find each immune index decreases, there is no obvious differential(P>0.05). Comparing before death group and death group, we find each immune index decreases a little, there is no obvious differential (P>0.05). The biochemical examination results of death group are compared with those of normal control group, indices such as total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), globoprotein(GLB), total cholesterol (CHOL), hign density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), apoprotein A1 (APOA1), apoprotein B (APOB) and hydronium calcium (Ca2+ )greatly decrease, and indices such as C-reactive protein (CRP), lactic denydrogenase (LDH),ɑ-hydroxybutyric denydrogenase (ɑ-HBDH), creatinine(Cr) and uric acid(UA) greatly increase, there is obvious statistical differential (P<0.05);γ-glutamyltranspeptidase (γ-GT )and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) increase a little; hydronium kalium (K+), sodium (Na+) and chlorine (Cl-) increase, there is no obvious differential (P>0.05). Comparing before death group and normal control group, we find indices such as TP, ALB, Glb, CHOL, HDL, LDL, ApoA1, ApoB and hydronium Ca2+ obviously decrease, and indices such as CRP,γ-GT,ɑ-HBDH, hydronium K+ greatly increase, there is obvious statistical differential(P<0.05). ALP, LDH, Cr, UA, hydronium Na+ ,Cl- increase, there is no obvious differential(P>0.05).But the average values of Cr and LDH obviously increase. We compares death group and before death group. In general, each biochemical examination result has no obvious statistical differential(P>0.05). The blood routine examination results of death group are compared with those of normal control group, we find white-cell count (WBC) greatly increases, neutrophilic granulocyte (GR) dramatically increase, lymphocyte (LY) and mononuelear leukocyte (MO) greatly decrease in white-cell system; there is obvious statistical differential(P<0.05); indices in red-cell such as red-cell count (RBC), hemoglobin (HGB), hematocrit (HCT), mean corpuscular volume (MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCHC) decrease, except that RBC has no statistical differential(P>0.05), other indices have obvious differential (P<0.05). red-cell distribution width (RDW) increases, there is no obvious differential (P>0.05); platelet count (PLT) obviously decrease, there is obvious statistical differential (P<0.05). Comparing before death group andnormal control group, we find WBC and GR greatly increase, while LY and MO greatly decrease in white-cell system, there is obvious statistical differential (P<0.05); indices in red-cell system such as RBC, HGB, HCT, MCH and MCHC decrease, except that RBC has no statistical differential(P>0.05), other indices have obvious differential (P<0.05). Comparing death group with before death group, indices of blood routine examination results have no obviously statistical differential (P>0.05). That the number of WBC increases has no relation with temperature. We find 10 indices with good lines to make the predicting equation of dangerous patients'living periods: y= 0.533 - 0.09X1- 0.080X2- 0.001X3+ 0.004X4+ 0.536X5+ 0.755X6- 5.951X7- 0.004X8+ 0.010X9+ 0.006X10. Accordance rate of dangerous patients'living periods is 85.3%.Conclusion :Before death, indices of body immunity, liver function, kidney function, blood-fat, hydronium and enzyme and blood routine respectively have great changes. We can use relative indices to predict the living period of dangerous patients.
