| Flos Lonicera japonicae widely distributed in China. The plant resources were so complicated that the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2005 included 4 species of Lonicera genus of Caprifoliaceae family as Flos Lonicera japonicae's original plants from a comprehensive survey of the factors such as the clinical curative effect, regional habitually used drugs and so on. They were: Lonicera japonica Thunb., Lonicera hypoglauea Miq.,Lonicera Confusa DC .and Lonicera dasystyla Rehd..In fact,besides the four resources above,there were more than 20 species of this genus Lonicera used as Flos Lonicera japonicae.Lonicera macckii(Rupr.)Maxim. belonging to Lonicera genus of Caprifoliaceae family,also known as silver wood, chicken bones and dog spines, mainly distributed in the north-east area of china, especially in ChangBai Mountains.Extensive application of Flos Lonicera japonicae had brought about the supply falls short of demand. In order to enlarge medicinal resources of Flos Lonicera japonicae, we had studied the chemical composition of Lonicera macckii(Rupr.)Maxim., which made necessary preparations for further seeking and utilizing Flos Lonicera japonicae resources.This thesis included the following studies :1. This thesis reviewed the recent advances of the chemical constituents, pharmacologic action and bioactivity of the plants of Lonicera genus.2. Seven compounds were isolated from the fruits of Lonicera macckii(Rupr.)Maxim., by macroporous resin , column chromatography on silica gel and ODS column chromatography,and their structures were established by physicochemical properties and spectroscopic analysis. They were: A: secologanin dimethylacetal; B: Secologanin; C: 7S-O-methylmorroniside; D: Loganin; E: Secologanin acid ; F: Loganic acid ; G: 6'-O-β-D-apiofuranosyl sweroside. All these compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
