Study On Strategic Management Of Enterprise Hospitals In Information Times

The medical system of China is transforming, enterprise hospitals will become community hospitals, and the model of hospital management is changing from traditional to modern digital model. Strategic management of hospitals originated from enterprise strategic management and had been applying to hospital management of China for less than 10 years. Almost no strategic management has been practiced in small enterprise hospitals. Therefore, it is a significant theme to study strategic management of small enterprise hospitals.Based on a brief historical retrospect of the relative theories and taking Jinan airport hospital as an example, the dissertation analyzed the environment, the resources and capability, opportunities and threats, strengths and weaknesses of small enterprise hospitals so as to establish and implement the strategy of the hospitals. The three levels of hospital strategy were discussed and their integration was emphasized particularly on under the instruction of the mission of the hospital. Different strategies may be chose in different phases. So the grand strategy was established and there are three stages to achieve the goal. The competitive strategies were designed according to Porter's three potential generic strategies. The key of the competitive strategy is to keep the sensitivity to the environment and the innovation ability to adjust the competitive strategy. Three of the functional strategies were emphasized particularly on. Finally, the author discussed the question how to implement and control the strategies.The dissertation studied strategic management of small enterprise hospitals in information times and tried to pioneer in the field. The production of the dissertation can be used for reference for strategic management of enterprise hospitals of China.
