Objective : To explore the clinical features, pathogenesis , cerebrospinalfluid(CSF) and imaging changes of spontaneous intracranial hypotensionsyndrome. Methods : 17 cases with spontaneous intracranial hypotension syndrome wereretrospectively analysed. Results : Their symptoms were all classical with headache in uprightposture, partly including nausea, vomiting, tinnitus , dizziness and neck stiffness. The pressure were all less than 70 mmH2O by lumber puncture. CSF contained small amount of RBC and protein increased. MRI revealed subdural hygromas, subdural hematoma and diffused dural enhancement. Conclusions : It's very important to understand the clinical features, pathogenesis , cerebrospinal fluid(CSF) and imaging changes of spontaneous intracranial hypotension syndrome. We should on guard against the complication of subdural hematoma and identify it from subarachnoid hemorrhage.
