Objective: To study the influence of the HP infection on psoriasis vulgaris and observe therapeutic effect of anti-HP on psoriasis vulgaris. Methods: 13C-urea respiratory test and detection of Helicobacter pylori antigen in stool samples were used to evaluate the infection of helicobacter pylori between 62 cases of psoriasis and 35 healthy cases of control. The 62 cases of psoriasis were regrouped to observe group in which 32 psoriasis cases were infected with HP and control group in which 30 psoriasis cases were not infected. Anti-helicobacter pylori therapy and tretinoin were used to observe group. Control group was treated only with tretinoin. Therapeutic effective rate and PASI were observed. Results: The HP infection rate of psoriasis cases is 51.6 %. And that of healthy cases is 22.9%. There is obvious difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Among the cases of psoriasis, the Therapeutic effective rate of treatment group is 62.5%, which has obvious difference with the control group (36.7%) (P<0.05).Conclusion: Our results showed that HP infection is correlated with psoriasis. Therapeutic effect of anti- HP may benefits the patient with psoriasis.
