| Objectives: By comparing the difference of the response of blood pressure, body composition and blood glucose, lipemia between after aerobic exercise + resistance training and only aerobic exercise , we explore the possibility and necessity of applying the aerobic exercise + resistance training in the exercise prescription of hypertension, and give the theory foundation for making exercise prescription of hypertension among postmenopausal females. Method: Forty-eight postmenopausal females of hypertension were randomized into control experiment group, aerobic exercise group and aerobic exercise + resistance training group.Different exercise projects were carried out. After twenty-four weeks exercise, the changes in body composition, blood glucose and blood pressure were observed. Result:1.The correlation between blood pressure and BMI was observed in females of hypertension.2.A11 participants' blood pressure decreased after exercise (P<0.05), body composition and blood glucose, lipemia got ameliorated. Especially, exercise + resistance training group reflects a better result in reducing body composition, ameliorating blood glucose, depressing blood pressure (P<0.05). The depression of blood pressure has a close relationship of the change of WHR, BMI, BF, F%.Conclusion:1. With BMI increased,Blood pressure also increased, exhibited significant negative correlation between them. BMI is the major risk factor of hypertension.2. Long-term of aerobic exercise + resistance training and aerobic exercise . both ameliorate the condition of body composition, blood pressure and blood glucose, lipemia among postmenopausal females, but aerobic exercise + resistance training is more efficient than aerobic exercise.3. Patients suffering from high blood pressure could ameliorate their condition by taking exercises, to reduce body composition, and then reach a better result.4. In actual exercise, only combining aerobic exercise and resistance training, using comprehensive healing project could result in diseases' cure. We recommend that using aerobic exercise + resistance training as the prescription of high blood pressure among postmenopausal females. |
